| TOKYO —
An increasing number of
people have posted on the Internet threats to commit mass murder and
other crimes since the June 8 stabbing rampage in Tokyo’s Akihabara
district, according to police officials.
The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed at least 300 web postings
of such declarations of intent to commit crimes since the Akihabara
case, which left seven people dead and 10 others injured.
